Fine Arts First (F.A.F) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and funding all public fine arts programs in our community. We aim to help any and all public programs, elementary to high school, support their students' expression through performance. Recently the number of fine art programs being cut has escalated drastically and many are on the verge of elimination due to a lack of enrollment, partially due to the economic stress that often comes with involvement in the arts. However, time and time again it is proven that fine art programs help students develop many life skills and those involved tend to score better on standardized tests/have a higher overall GPA than the average student. We serve to relieve some financial stress from fine arts teachers, programs, and students so they can shine and continue to show the world the benefits of performance. In the past we have provided resources such as makeup kits for middle school theater programs and organized donation drives for essential supplies like pencils, highlighters, and binders. Our mission is to ensure that the arts may thrive in every school and student with as little financial stress as possible.
